The BIOTECH INNOVATION CENTER is a cooperative project between one of the largest public high schools in the country and Passaic county community college. This project has expanded the medical arts and medical science courses that Passaic County Technical Institute can offer, to best prepare it students for university and the workforce. The project was funded under a grant that required the applicant to submit an innovative program and compelling design to reimagine the education norms at vocational schools.
Building Elements:
The project is linked to the adjacent campus via a conditioned sky bridge. The project contains 14 science labs, 18 traditional classrooms, and a tiered college style lecture hall.
